Community service is a form of community midwifery care that aims to improve maternal and infant health through promotive and preventive approaches. One health problem still frequently encountered in the community is the low coverage of exclusive breastfeeding. Based on the results of an assessment and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) conducted in Ragunan Village, Pasar Minggu District, South Jakarta City, it was found that the priority problem faced by the community is the low knowledge and awareness of breastfeeding mothers regarding the importance of exclusive breastfeeding. This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge, understanding, and motivation of postpartum and breastfeeding mothers to provide exclusive breastfeeding for six months. The methods used in this activity include data collection, prioritizing problems using the FGD method, and interventions in the form of health education, including the practice of good and correct breastfeeding techniques, and breast care education. The target group for this activity is postpartum and breastfeeding mothers in RT 006 RW 07.The results of the activity showed an increase in knowledge and understanding among breastfeeding mothers regarding the meaning and benefits of exclusive breastfeeding, proper breastfeeding techniques, and breast care. Breastfeeding mothers also demonstrated high enthusiasm and motivation to exclusively breastfeed their babies. This activity is expected to contribute to increasing the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding and support efforts to improve maternal and infant health at the community level.
