This community service initiative aimed to enhance patient knowledge regarding *murottal* therapy—specifically the recitation of the Quran—as a means to reduce anxiety in patients undergoing elective Cesarean sections with spinal anesthesia at Harapan Ibu General Hospital, Purbalingga. Preoperative anxiety levels are often high, particularly among obstetric patients, driven by fears regarding pain, complications, and the surgical procedure itself. *Murottal* therapy serves as a non-pharmacological intervention that promotes relaxation and helps alleviate anxiety. The methodology involved assessing the patients' families' baseline knowledge via a pre-test questionnaire, providing education through the auditory experience of listening to the recitation of Surah Ar-Rahman, and evaluating knowledge improvement using a post-test questionnaire. The educational session took place in the hospital's Integrated Surgical Suite (IBS) preparation room, involving 30 participants selected based on specific criteria. Respondent characteristics showed a predominance of the 31–35 age group (10 respondents or 33.3%), primiparas (12 respondents or 40.0%), and those with no prior history of Cesarean section (20 respondents or 66.7%). Prior to the *murottal* therapy, 20 respondents (66.7%) experienced moderate anxiety, while 10 (33.3%) experienced severe anxiety. Following the *murottal* therapy featuring Surah Ar-Rahman, 27 respondents (90.0%) experienced mild anxiety and 3 (10.0%) experienced moderate anxiety; no instances of severe anxiety or panic remained.
