PT Hexindo Adiperkasa Tbk operates a remanufacturing program for used heavy-equipment components (oldcore). The existing registration system was developed by the factory in Japan, covers registration only, and does not record the actual condition of the components, so that feasibility assessment still relies on the subjective judgement of each Person In Charge (PIC) and is prone to input errors, duplication, and inconsistent decisions. This study aims to design and build a desktop-based registration and validation system with a client-server architecture that applies the Rule-Based Validation method. The system was developed using Python and PyQt5 on the client side, a FastAPI REST API and PostgreSQL on a cloud server, and SQLite as a local cache supporting offline mode. Validation is carried out through four sequential rules: serial number validation, score computation from twenty assessment questions (YES = 1, NO = 0), determination of the feasibility category based on score ranges, and presentation of the system output. Black-box testing of eighteen functional scenarios shows that all system functions operate as expected. The system produces objective, consistent and traceable feasibility decisions, and enables centralised data access across branch locations.
