Boroco flower (Celosia argentea L.) is one of the plants that can be used as a traditional medicine because it contains alkaloid compounds, saponins and flavonoids which are antifungal so it is believed to be used in treating diseases such as vaginal discharge caused by the fungus Candida albicans. The antimicrobial activity test method used is the agar well method and the media used is Saboraud Dextrose Agar (SDA) media. The test samples in this study were made in 3 replications with concentrations of 10%, 20% and 30% and 2 controls namely positive and negative controls. This study aims to determine the extract of boroco plant flowers (Celosia argentea L.) in inhibiting the growth of Candida albicans. The results showed that a concentration of 10% had an average inhibitory power of 3.4 mm with a moderate inhibitory category, at a concentration of 20% had an average inhibitory power of 4.5 mm with a moderate inhibitory category, at a concentration of 30% had an average inhibitory power of 4.8 mm with a moderate inhibitory category. From the research results, it can be concluded that boroco flower extract is able to inhibit the growth of Candida albicans fungus.
